I can’t tell you how excited I am for you to be part of this community and hope you find the information I share inspiring and actionable!
As most of you are aware, the Now What podcast launched with an intro episode this week and I am in awww of the support and positive comments you each have offered. I realize this may even be some of your "first podcast" and I can't tell you how much that means. Thank you for stepping out into something new.
One of the main questions I get asked is why or how I started a podcast. Honestly, there isn't one specific reason and I am still considered somewhat new to the podcast community myself. I started listening earlier this year and found them to be a good alternative to my usual music playlist for long runs, workouts, and instead of television. Plus, they offered such a variety of topics to choose from that I would not have typically considered hearing about.
Over the past couple of years, I intentionally focused on self discovery and personal development (mind., body and soul). I didn't have or use a customized road map, checklist, or specific time frame that I allowed myself to operate in that space.
I asked myself a lot of hard questions, that in some cases I didn't know the answer to, the answers I had weren't good enough anymore. There was something deeper to what I was discovering, but I had no idea why. So, I started to open up and share little about myself to those I knew had my best intentions in mind. Their support, and encouragement gave me the courage to accept vulnerability within myself and share my story with others. At the same time, I listened to several podcast that were providing me daily inspiration, and tips on how to share this information in a meaningful way that resonates with an interested audience.
It was in that backstory, the genesis for developing my personal brand Diane Gil - Cultivate with Courage was launched. What excites me the most is the entire process would be unchartered territory. It would be an opportunity for me to learn new skills, and really challenge myself personally leveraging the confidence, knowledge and expertise I have developed along the way.
With that said, I hope my message resonates with you. I look forward to sharing more in future podcast, blog posts, and newsletters. For now, think about where you want to be, enjoy where you are, and in all things, Grow.......
